ALAB: Igniting One NCR – Celebrating Educational Milestones and Innovations
Teachers, education leaders, and stakeholders from all sectors celebrated the ALAB: Igniting One NCR event last February 28, 2025, in the Manila Metropolitan Theater with hope and excitement. The first-year report on DepEd NCR’s Five Priorities was released on this occasion, along with the introduction of the Learning Resources (LR) Portal and the Learning and Development (L&D) Programs. DepEd NCR’s remarkable achievements and expansion over the last year were showcased at this occasion, highlighting the agency’s dedication to enhancing the local educational environment.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Asec. Jocelyn DR Andaya, DepEd NCR Regional Director and concurrent Officer-In-Charge, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Operations. Her visionary leadership has been instrumental in driving the region’s educational initiatives and ensuring that the goals set forth in the DepEd NCR Five Priorities are met. Under her guidance, the DepEd NCR has made significant strides in enhancing the quality of education and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
