DepEd NCR Rekindles Camaraderie with ‘Masayang Pagsasama-Sama Muli’ Event
In a heartwarming reunion, the Retired Employees Association of DepEd NCR (READ-NCR) orchestrated the much-anticipated gathering themed ‘Masayang Pagsasama-Sama Muli’ on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, held at the esteemed DepEd NCR Conference Hall. The event served as a nostalgic journey for former DepEd NCR officials and employees came together to reminisce and partake in joyous activities.
Amidst the laughter and camaraderie, new members – Crisanto A. Ecija, Emelina M. Barrera, Emmanuel Dionela, Tereso DL. Ubungn, Jr., Victor R. Marquez, Bernadette C. Daran – were warmly welcomed into the fold, embodying the enduring spirit of the DepEd family. A poignant moment of the day was marked by the stirring address from RD Joyce DR Andaya, whose words resonated deeply with all present. Expressing heartfelt gratitude, she lauded the invaluable contributions of every participant to the legacy of DepEd NCR, affirming, ‘Walang DepEd NCR ngayon, kung wala kayo.’
Moreover, RD Andaya outlined the region’s ambitious three-year development plan and delineated five strategic priorities, eliciting a resoundingly positive reception. Anticipation soared as attendees eagerly anticipated opportunities for collaboration, particularly in the forthcoming commemoration of DepEd NCR’s 50th anniversary.
